Kardan Water International Group (KWIG) is the operation platform for TAHAL Group in the Chinese market. The company develops, operates, and invests in water supply, wastewater treatment, and desalinations projects in Mainland China.

KWIG was established in 2007, and began its operation with a focus on three main geographical areas: The Bohai Coast area in Shandong, Tianjin and Hebei provinces; the West Yangtze River area in Chongqing and Sichuan; and the East Yangtze River in Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces.

KWIG enjoys TAHAL Group's advanced technology, strong financing capabilities, and more than 50 years of experience in working on water-related projects across the globe. This enabled the company to develop a strong presence in China - 9 projects across four provinces - and become a reliable long-term partner to the Chinese Government, supporting China's efforts for a cleaner, more sustainable development.
